Two astrologers told me opposite things about job or business. Who’s right?

Why two readings can disagree
- Different birth details. It sounds obvious, but a 20-minute difference in birth time, or a different birthplace spelling, can change your ascendant and every house after it. Check that both astrologers used exactly the same data.
- Different weighting. One astrologer might focus on a strong 7th house (business, partnerships). Another might focus on a strong 6th house and Saturn (service). Most charts have signals in both directions; which one gets emphasised changes the answer.
- Different timing. “Business is in your chart” and “stick to a job” can both be true: one about your life overall, the other about the next three years.
- Different systems. Some astrologers use different ayanamsas or house systems, which can move planets between houses.
How to make sense of conflicting readings
- Ask for the reasons, not just the verdict. “Business, because your 7th lord is in the 10th and Mercury is strong” is something you can weigh. “Business” on its own isn’t.
- Separate the what from the when. Ask both: what does my chart support overall, and what does my current period favour?
- Look at your own life. Have you enjoyed taking risks, selling and running things? Or do you do your best work in structure? Your track record is evidence too.
